Dr. Nova Li
DDSEarned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA School of Dentistry in 2018.
Dr. Nova Li is a distinguished dental professional with a wealth of experience and a commitment to excellence in providing advanced dental care to her patients. Graduating from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2014, Dr. Li's journey in dentistry has been marked by notable achievements, including her attendance at the University of Southern California Implant Program in 2015 and the subsequent earning of her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA School of Dentistry in 2018. Driven by a commitment to excellence, Dr. Li continuously seeks further education from prestigious institutions such as the Kois Center and Magne Education to ensure she delivers the highest quality of care to her patients. Her expertise in full-mouth rehabilitation, the Biomimetic concept, and immediate dentin sealing showcases her dedication to staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field.
Dr. Dannuo (Nova) Li graduated from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2014, one of China's premier dental schools. After earning her degree, she practiced general dentistry alongside her mother, a seasoned dentist with over 20 years of experience. In 2015, Dr. Li attended the University of Southern California Implant Program, where she was inspired to further her dental education in the United States. 2018, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA School of Dentistry.
Dr. Li is deeply passionate about dentistry and takes immense pride in her work. She continues to pursue advanced training from prestigious institutions like the Kois Center and Magne Education to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry. Specializing in comprehensive and cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Li remains dedicated to research and the latest dental technologies.

Registered Dental Hygienist
Sunny Choi, RDH
We are proud to introduce Sunny, who joined our practice in 2025 and has been a wonderful addition to our team. With a calm and compassionate demeanor, she helps patients feel at ease during their visits some even say her gentle touch and subtle use of aromatherapy make it feel more like a spa than a dental office.
She earned her Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from Loma Linda University and brings over 10 years of clinical experience in both general and advanced periodontal care.
Her skill set includes:
• Comprehensive periodontal evaluation and treatment, including periodontal charting, ultrasonic instrumentation, scaling and root planing, and patient education.
• Certified in the use of multiple diode lasers including Millennium PerioLase MVP-7 True Pulse, Epic Biolase, Picasso Lite, and Gemini Ultradent for soft tissue procedures.
• Licensed for local anesthesia, nitrous oxide/oxygen administration, and soft tissue curettage.
• Proficient in preventive care and hybrid implant denture maintenance, including experience with Neodent, MIS, and Nobel implant systems.
Outside the clinic, Sunny enjoys practicing yoga, hiking with her dog, and walking along the beach. She brings this same sense of wellness and mindfulness into her care for each and every patient.

Jackie Lozano
With over four years of hands-on experience, Jackie is a dedicated Dental Assistant known for her attention to detail and calming presence. She works closely with both patients and the dental team to ensure every visit is as comfortable and efficient as possible.
Jackie is passionate about helping patients feel at ease and is always looking for ways to improve care and clinical outcomes. Whether assisting with procedures or offering a reassuring word, she brings compassion and precision to everything she does.
When she’s not in the office, Jackie enjoys exploring new recipes in the kitchen, crocheting handmade creations, and relaxing with her cat, Shrimp.

Pearl Fang
Pearl is a graduate of the University of California Irvine with a degree in Biological Science. She’s passionate about helping people achieve their most confident smile! She loves getting to meet new people and listening to the stories they have to share. Pearl found interest in dentistry as it combines both technology and med to make people feel their best. She spends her free time chasing after her cats, Kirby and Eevee. She’s also a big foodie who enjoys baking and trying new cafes. Be sure to ask her for food recommendations as she loves sharing her favorite spots!.

Nova Dental Studio was hands-down the best dental/dentist experience I’ve ever had. Miss Pearl at the front desk is the literal definition of diligence, and not only moved up my appointment by a day after reaching out - it was a low-key emergency - but also continued to send me text updates, and let me know I could go in an hour early from my appointment time to make doubly-sure all of what I needed done could be done same-day. Jackie (I think her name was?) the tech/nurse/assistant was incredibly nice and friendly, and helped multiple times to calm me down just by doing simple things like tapping my shoulder when the doctor was injecting novocaine and giving me a blanket. Dr. Li was superb, stupendous, amazing, ALL OF THE GOOD THINGS. She was a wonderful, calming presence, and carried that calmness, gentleness, and patience all through the appointment. It was a 2-hour-long appointment, people, and Not Once did she sigh or scoff; to the contrary, she encouraged me to take my time near the end to make sure my bite felt fine, and continued to grind and polish until everything was perfect. 1000000/10, would recommend.

This office is so accommodating and welcoming. The front office staff were so nice and caring. You really feel welcomed the moment you step into the office. I was dealing with gum pain and I was looked at thoroughly to see what the root cause of my pain could be. They figured out the answers quickly, figured out a game plan with Dr. Li of what needs to be done. Like I mentioned before, the care they put into their patients - it shows. I definitely recommend this office that is looking for a new primary DDS. This office is the place to be that makes you feel cared for and heard when you have questions/concerns.
